This movie showcases the atrocities by one religion over the other religion in an Indian state called Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).

But, we are talking only about J&K. Why can't we also talk about the same or even worst atrocities caused in other states of India.

Today, let us know a two of the other The Kashmir Files of India. 

Means, other than Kashmir atrocities, we will also know more such horror in two places of India.

The Melukote Files (Karnataka) : It was an attack on the local Brahmins of the place called Melukote, Mandya in Karnataka.

This attack happened near and around a divine temple of Sri Cheluvaraya Swamy (Lord Vishnu temple) and Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy temple (Lord Vishnu temple).

This attack was done on the Deepawali day against the local Brahmins in Melukote, Mandya Karnataka.

For this atrocity and cruelty caused to the local people, even today the locals don't celebrate the Deepawali (Naraka Chaturdashi).

On “Naraka Chaturdashi” day, that is, the day when Deepawali is celebrated not only in India, but all over the world, the army of Tipu Sultan rounded up the Mandya Iyengar (Brahmins) community living in Melukote. 

More than 800 people were killed. The rest of the inhabitants abandoned the town immediately. 

Melukote turned into a ghost town overnight.

The Nair Files (Kerala) : Thousands and lakhs of Nair family members were converted to Islam forcefully in Kerala.



The detainees of Nairs was forcefully imposed on these Nairs group of Malabar in Kerala by Tipu Sultan (son of Hyder Ali).

Nairs group were subjected to unlawful and forcible conversions to Islam, whose approval and alliance was given by Tipu Sultan.

Those who refused conversions had to face many humiliations, hardships, torture, and even finally the death.

The Nairs group were treated with extreme brutality due to their strong adherence to the Hindu faith and martial arts.

The captivity ended when Nairs groups from Travancore defeated Tipu in the Third Anglo-Mysore War.

It is estimated that out of the thousands of Nairs put to imprisoned including children and women, only a few hundred returned to Malabar alive.
